No account should necessarily be held in order to apply for a card. In cases where the client is not an account holder, application approval will be subject to some additional conditions that are decided on a case-by-case basis.
Whenever you purchase a traveling ticket by your credit card, you are entitled to benefit from MAPFRE Asistencia Travel Plan, in case of accident.

Coverage shall additionally indemnify the services of MAPFRE Asistencia SA in the event of:
- The visit of a family member in the event of hospitalization of more than 5 days or if the victim is a
child of under 15 years of age.Indemnity USD 80/day during a maximum of 10 days.
- Repatriation of mortal; remains.
- Return of dependent children: If dependent children are left unattended as a result of a member’s
accident or illness, MAPFRE Asistencia SA will arrange their return to Lebanon.
- Dispatch of an MAPFRE Asistencia SA patient under MAPFRE Asistencia SA supervision
- Dispatch of MAPFRE Asistencia SA Specialist Physician and Medicine.
